Course Description

Language Awareness is the understanding of the basics of syntax and morphology, along with the common meta-language that enables teachers to talk about grammar, as well as broader issues of language structure in general. This course is an online, self-paced overview of these basics designed to help language teachers understand and explain grammatical constructions generally considered to be required for an upper-intermediate (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) B2 level) proficiency in written and spoken English.
