About the Program
The Authentic Leadership Program (ALP) is an in-person, immersive leadership experience designed for mid-level, senior and executive leaders who want to deepen their self-awareness, strengthen their leadership identity, and increase their impact.
Held at a retreat center near Spokane, ALP creates space to step away from the day-to-day and focus on how you lead. Through practical learning, assessments, reflection, and connection with other leaders, you’ll explore your strengths and leadership style and develop strategies to lead and communicate with greater authenticity and intention.
What You’ll Learn
- Leading with Authenticity – Understand your unique strengths and styles, and how these guide your leadership approach.
- Personal Leadership – Increase leadership effectiveness through deeper self-awareness, assessment insights, and targeted development.
- Leadership Communication – Influence, inspire, and align others through compelling communication, storytelling, and confident leadership presence.
- Emotional Intelligence – Strengthen resilience, self-management, and relationship-building skills essential for modern leadership.
- Conflict Resolution – Navigate difficult conversations and conflict with greater confidence, curiosity, and skill.
Format
ALP centers around a 3-day, in-person, overnight retreat near Spokane, with preparation and follow-up designed to extend the learning experience.
- A 1-hour orientation before the program
- Pre-work and leadership assessments beginning approximately six weeks before the retreat
- A 3-day, in-person overnight retreat
- A follow-up session with your cohort approximately one month after the retreat
Assessments
ALP includes three assessments with individual debriefs by certified practitioners:
- A 360 review to identify your leadership strengths and growth areas
- ProfileXT Select, which helps you understand how you are “wired”
- An Emotional Intelligence profile that highlights your emotional intelligence patterns and strategies during stress
Credits
Graduates receive 3 Continuing Education (CE) credits from Gonzaga University.
