About the Program
In healthcare, individuals are often tapped for supervisory roles based on their technical skills, but rarely given adequate time and training to develop leadership skills. This 6-month, cohort-based Certificate in Healthcare Leadership is specifically designed for the unique and nuanced nature of the healthcare environment, empowers you to effectively lead individuals, teams, and organizations. Through a combination of in-person and virtual learning, you'll gain practical knowledge and skills.

Format
This is a hybrid program with both in-person and online, interactive classes, providing students with opportunities for meaningful connection while also providing flexibility and convenience. All in-person classes are mandatory, taking place in Spokane, Washington.
Credits
- Graduates receive a Certificate in Healthcare Leadership from Gonzaga University and 8 Continuing Education credits on a Gonzaga University transcript.
- Apply up to 3 semester credits toward completion of a Masters in Organizational Leadership, Masters in Communication and Leadership, or Masters in Business Administration (MBA), contingent upon admission and with five (5) years of certificate completion. (Note: Learners are responsible for confirming whether this course counts towards professional licensures, certifications or degrees at other universities.)
